Lovely back streets in Olhao Portugal for a wind d Lovely back streets in Olhao Portugal for a wind down. Back in the saddle tomorrow for a busy week. Meet Make Mend on Monday evening @stroudtrinityrooms @atelierstroud 7-9pm. Stroud Book Festival kicks off on Wednesday then The Red Dress is coming to town on Thursday. Golly.

I haven’t done any embroidery that wasn’t darn I haven’t done any embroidery that wasn’t darning for a while, so it was fun to get stuck in to this. Nikki at The Fold asked volunteers to stitch a square dedicated to one of the many countries who have contributed to The Red Dress project. I had the Czech Republic and hope I’ve done it justice. Squares will be sewn together in homage to the dress, which is coming to Stroud on 6 November @quickthornbooks @thefoldstroud
