I’ve just received my copy of Embroidery magazin I’ve just received my copy of Embroidery magazine with articles about not one, but two Quickthorn authors. Both work in our common language of stitch. Celia Pym features in The Sewing Room, talking to Ellen Bell about her studio. 
Lynn Setterington talks to Josephine Murray about her upcoming show at Knit+Stitch this autumn, which will be at London and Harrogate. Lynn says “A common thread throughout my work is the overlooked and the everyday.”

This is the studio of Sue Bradley of Stroud. I got This is the studio of Sue Bradley of Stroud. I got to chat with her for an article in @goodonpaperstroud this month to celebrate the launch of her latest book Pattern: Hand Knitting Designs from Around the World. The book is crammed with charts and ideas inspired by Sue’s collection of textiles. I remember her previous books fondly from the 80s. 
For Crafts Alive @rodmartonmanor 10-14 Sept near Cirencester , the theme is flowers and Sue has designed some amazing knitted bedspreads for one of the bedrooms in the house. I’ll be there with my books and darning demonstrations so come and say hello
