Workshops

It will be time to revisit your woolies soon. The next Meet Make Mend is Wednesday, 4 Oct, 7–9pm at the Trinity Rooms, Stroud, with myself and Katharina. Bring your holes, no experience necessary. Book here or just turn up. The Repair Café is on Sat morning, 30 Sept.

There are also longer workshops on 7 Oct at Prema Arts, Uley, 11am –4pm and 14 Oct at the lovely Meadows in Painswick, 1.30–4pm.

crochet Christmas trees

Christmas crochet is happening at Victoria Works Studios, Chalford (next door to the Lavender Bakehouse), Sunday 10th December, 10am – 4pm. We’ll be making trees. garlands and snowflakes, suitable for all levels. Even beginners can have a go at making some decorations and Christmas cards to take away 🎄🙂

Workshops at West Dean College near Chichester are enjoyable in any weather. My next course is 26–28 January 2024, Hyperbolic crochet, bobbles and clusters . We’ll be trying out new stitches and experimenting with hyperbolic shapes to make corals. There’s a beginner’s day too on the 26 Jan at West Dean .

If you’re planning ahead, or want a workshop as a thoughtful Xmas present (that you get to share!) there is a beginner’s crochet workshop at Victoria Works in Chalford
on 3 February. Now that’s something to look forward to.

I would love my 9 year old daughter to learn to knit. Are you thinking of doing any lessons for adults & children? Either in groups or 1 to 1, I don’t mind either!

Hi, are you likely to have any learn to knit classes in the near future? I can crochet but would love to knit too!
